CUTTERS
Unit # 92 (CA)
– Gayl Hoffmaster wishes to thank all the wonderful people, WAVES and SPARS, who
sent her cards on her 94th birthday. Cards from all over the United States
remembered the unit’s oldest SPAR senior. Laura Borsten, one of the original
WAVES who entered in 1942, passed away in West Lost Angeles. Jan Macauley, SPAR
officer, friend of Laura’s, represented the WAVES and the SPARS at the services.
Laura’s husband and family were very appreciative. September 6th, a picnic
luncheon was held at Connie Warwick’s home. WAVES and SPARS joined in for
a lovely day.
WAVES OF THE WASATCH
