Eighteen members and nine guests enjoyed the November
meeting, held jointly with the Music City Chapter of the Marine Corps
League and Auxiliary on 08 November for their annual “SOS” Breakfast. The
project for the September and November meetings was called “Operation TT”.
Toilet tissue and wipes were collected for the troops in Iraq. These items
are very much in popular demand “over there”! At the 11th month, 11th day,
11th hour, Tuesday 11 November 2003, 12 unit members walked/rode in
Nashville’s Regional Veterans Day Parade. The WAVES National Flag preceded
the walkers and decorated vehicles.
